Magenta Moon Garden

Immersive installation Magenta Moon Garden – a playful approach to future education

“phygital” - dissolve the boundaries between digital and physical realms

From 17th October to 1st November 2020 the Magenta Moon Campus Berlin invited visitors of all ages to explore this place by workshops, talks, maker spaces and an interactive escape room game – as learning platform and playground for rethinking digital education and sustainability.

flora&faunavisions designed a large-scale interactive media installation, the immersive Magenta Moon Garden. Three distinct visual environments – (Sunrise Garden, Moon Garden, Magenta Moon) were enriched with intuitive, interactive real-time elements for exploring in a playful way. The stunning environment and experience is flanked by online contents and events that tackle topics from hate speech to climate change.

Klangerfinder composed soundscapes for the environments and the interactive elements. Using sounds and harmonies by playing the interactive game, visitors compose their own, downloadable soundtrack for their journey to the enchanted Magenta Moon. The 5.1 surround sound in the curved space give guests a real sense of being part of a living digital canvas.
