Sound of Design

For the “Neue Sammlung München”, Klangerfinder is developing a sound app which renders the characteristic sounds of the exhibited design objects tangible. For this purpose, more than 100 different functions of various devices were recorded: From the ringing of a historical telephone, the clacking sound of iconic typewriters to the roar of specific car engines, visitors can listen to the otherwise mute objects behind the showcases. The app can be used directly from the website sound-of-design.de, either via your mobile device on site or from home.
